Twelve jobs across Broward County

Slat walls, in-wall TV installs, kitchen and bathroom refreshes, deck repair and a lot of flat-pack furniture.

Twelve recent projects

Demo build note

The photography below is the client’s own. The project write-ups, cities and job details attached to each image are invented for this pitch build and must be replaced with real jobs — his Instagram has a year of genuine project photography to draw from.

Every job, start to finish

Backlit walnut slat accent wall with a flat-screen TV recessed into the panelling in a modern living room

Backlit walnut slat wall, Fort Lauderdale

A full-height walnut slat wall built around a 75-inch screen. Power and HDMI were run inside the framing before the slats went on, and LED cove lighting was set behind the top rail. Two days, carpentry and finish both in-house.

Flat-screen TV and soundbar mounted flush on a concrete feature wall above a low white media unit

In-wall install on block, Pompano Beach

Solid block wall in a beachfront condo. Screen and soundbar both mounted and levelled, all cabling concealed inside the wall, and every component reconnected and paired before leaving. No surcharge for the concrete.

Floor-to-ceiling vertical wood slat panelling behind a black grand piano in a bright room

Slat panelling behind a grand piano, Weston

Slat spacing was set against the width of the instrument rather than a stock template, so the panelling reads as part of the room instead of a backdrop. Battens were sealed before installation to hold up to Florida humidity.

Renovated open-plan kitchen with a large island, pendant lighting and full-height windows

Kitchen refresh, Coral Springs

Cabinetry, counter tops, faucet and disposal, plus under-cabinet lighting and the switching to run it. Handled as one job rather than a carpenter, a plumber and an electrician on three different days.

Renovated modern bathroom with a freestanding tub, large-format grey tile and a floating vanity

Bathroom refresh, Hollywood

Vanity, shower door, tiling and every plumbing connection behind it. Grout and caulk lines are the part of a bathroom that shows the work, so that is where the time went.

Assembled round dining table with four upholstered chairs in a bright dining room

Eleven-piece assembly after a move, Coral Springs

Three retailers, eleven pieces, one visit. Batching a whole house into a single booking rather than paying a minimum charge on each is where the saving comes from.

Wall-mounted TV recessed into a white built-in unit with LED cove lighting and display shelving

Built-in TV wall with LED cove, Boca Raton

Screen recessed into an existing built-in, cabling buried, and the cove lighting wired to a dimmer so the whole wall runs off one switch.

Handyman skim-coating and smoothing a repaired section of interior drywall

Ceiling crack repair, Victoria Park

A settlement crack above a window, cut back, taped, skimmed and blended into the corner. The repair is only as good as the sanding, which is the part most people rush.

Horizontal wood slat media wall with a mounted TV, floating shelf and framed art alongside

Media wall with concealed cabling, Parkland

Horizontal slats with a floating shelf carrying the components. Every cable runs behind the panelling to a ventilated recess, so nothing is visible and nothing overheats.

Smart home control icons overlaid on a lit poolside patio at dusk

Cameras and smart thermostat, Boca Raton

Four cameras and a thermostat that needed a common wire the house did not have. Sorted on site rather than sending the homeowner back to the store, and all of it live in the app before leaving.

Bedroom with a deep red panelled accent wall behind an upholstered bed

Bedroom feature wall, Fort Lauderdale

Panel moulding laid out to the bed width and ceiling height, filled, caulked and finished in a deep matte red. One wall, two days, and it changed the whole room.

Flat-screen TV on a full-motion articulating wall arm above a floating drawer console

Full-motion arm over a console, Deerfield Beach

A full-motion arm so the screen can be turned toward the kitchen. Cable slack was routed and dressed so the arm swings through its full travel without dragging anything.
