How do I get a price?
Call or text (954) 708-0762. TV mounting and furniture assembly are published flat rates you can read straight off this site. Everything else is quoted, and a photo plus a rough measurement is usually enough for a number the same day.
Is there a charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free.
Do you charge more for concrete or brick walls?
No. Drywall, cement block and brick are all the same price for a TV installation. Most of Broward is block construction, so charging extra for it would mean charging almost everybody extra.
What is the smallest job you will take?
There is a call-out minimum, so a single picture hook on its own is not economic for either of us. Save the list up — four small jobs in one visit costs a fraction of four separate visits.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Mon–Fri 7am–7pm · Sat 8am–5pm · Sun 9am–4pm. DEMO — confirm against the hours on his Google profile.
How quickly can you come out?
Most work is scheduled within a few days. Every call and text gets a same-day callback before 7pm. DEMO — confirm this promise with Jake before it goes live.
Are you insured?
Yes — $1,000,000 general liability. DEMO — replace with the real carrier and coverage from his certificate of insurance.
Do you take the boxes and packaging away?
On TV installations, yes — box removal is included in the price. On furniture assembly jobs the packaging stays with you.
What payment do you take?
DEMO — confirm accepted payment methods with Jake. Draft wording: cash, card, Zelle and Venmo, due on completion.
Do you guarantee the work?
TV installations carry a lifetime warranty on the installation itself. DEMO — the written terms of that warranty need to come from Jake before this is published as a claim.
Can you help if I bought the wrong bracket or hardware?
Yes. I carry brackets from $30 along with common cables and anchors, so a wrong part usually does not cost you a second visit.
Can you mount a TV on a concrete or brick wall?
Yes, and there is no surcharge for it. Concrete, brick and drywall are all the same price. I carry masonry bits and the correct sleeve anchors for block construction, which is what most Fort Lauderdale and Pompano condos are built from.
Will you hide the cables inside the wall?
On most interior walls, yes. In-wall concealment is $219.95 up to a 65-inch screen and $279.95 up to 85 inches, including the mount itself. On an exterior block wall where fishing cable is not possible, I use a paintable surface channel instead at $159.95.
Do you supply the mount?
If you need one. Brackets start at $30 and I carry fixed, tilting and full-motion options, so you do not need to have bought anything before I arrive.
How long does a TV installation take?
A straightforward mount with a cord cover is usually under an hour. In-wall wiring on a large screen with a soundbar and several components runs closer to two and a half hours.
What happens to the box?
It leaves with me. Removal of boxes and packaging is included in every installation price on this page.
How long does an accent wall take?
Most single-wall projects are one to two days. A slat wall with in-wall cabling for a television and a paint finish over the top is typically two.
Can the TV cables be hidden inside a slat wall?
Yes, and it is the main reason to build one. Power and HDMI get run inside the framing before the slats go on, so the finished wall is completely clean.
Do you paint the wall as well as build it?
Yes. Carpentry and finish are both mine, so there is no handover between trades and no waiting on a second contractor.
Can you match an existing colour?
Yes. Bring me a paint code, an offcut or a photo in daylight and I will match it.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes — $119.99 for the first item on the visit. Every additional item that day is billed at the flat rate in the table above, which is why it pays to batch a whole room into one booking.
Do you take the boxes away?
Not on assembly jobs. The packaging stays with you. Box removal is included on TV installations, but not here.
Will you move the furniture into another room once it is built?
Moving an assembled piece to a different room is not included in the listed price. Tell me where it is going before I start and I will build it there.
Do you assemble office furniture for businesses?
Yes. Residential and commercial both. Multiple office chairs and desk banks are quoted as a package rather than per item.
What if a part is missing or damaged in the box?
I will tell you straight away and build everything I can around it. You deal with the retailer for the replacement part and I will come back to finish, usually at no additional call-out.
Is there a minimum charge for small jobs?
There is a call-out minimum, which is exactly why it pays to save up the list. Four small jobs in one visit cost far less than four separate visits.
Do you do full kitchen and bathroom remodels?
Yes — vanities, tile, shower doors, cabinetry, counter tops and the plumbing connections. For a full gut with structural or permitted work I will tell you honestly when a licensed specialist should lead it.
Can you match existing paint on a drywall repair?
Yes. Give me the paint code or an offcut. Where nothing exists to match, blending into the nearest corner is usually the better answer and I will say so before I start.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Most interior work is scheduled within a few days. Call or text and you will hear back the same day.
How often should a deck be sealed in South Florida?
Every one to two years here, against three to five in a milder climate. Sun and humidity strip a finish fast, and an unsealed board holds water and rots from the inside.
Do you replace rotted wood or just paint over it?
Replace it. Painting over rot hides the problem for one season and doubles the cost of the eventual repair.
Can you power wash and seal in the same visit?
Washing and sealing are separate visits by necessity — the timber has to dry fully or the sealer will not bond. Usually two to three days apart.
Do you install hurricane shutters?
I install and paint shutters. Anything requiring a permit or an engineered impact rating should go to a specialist, and I will tell you when that is the case.
Are you a licensed electrician?
DEMO PLACEHOLDER — this answer must be replaced with Jake's actual licence position before launch. Draft wording: fixture-level and low-voltage work is handled in-house; panel work, new circuits and permitted work are referred to a state-licensed electrician.
Can you add an outlet behind a wall-mounted TV?
Yes. In-wall power kits for a mounted television are standard on my TV installs and are the correct way to do it, rather than running an extension lead inside the wall, which is not.
Will you set up the app as well as fit the hardware?
Yes. Fitting a smart thermostat or camera and leaving before it is on your Wi-Fi and in your app is only half the job. I do not book the visit as finished until it works from your phone.
Do you install ceiling fans where there is no existing fixture?
Where a suitable rated box and supply already exist, yes. Where a new circuit or a new box is needed, that goes to a licensed electrician.
