Furniture Assembly

Buying the furniture is the easy half. Assembly is where a flat-pack either becomes a piece of furniture that lasts or a wobbling frame that fails in a year. I assemble residential and commercial furniture across Broward County to the manufacturer's instructions, at published flat rates so you know the cost before I arrive.

Brands I work with constantly

IKEA, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, Walmart and Amazon, plus most of the trade-only lines. After enough of them you learn which cam locks strip, which rails need pre-drilling and which instruction sheets are wrong — which is the whole difference between an hour and an afternoon.

How the pricing works

There is a $119.99 minimum for the first item on any visit; every additional item on the same visit is charged at the flat rate in the table below. Assembling six chairs and a table in one trip is a great deal cheaper than booking them separately.

Two things to know

I assemble in the room you want the piece to live in — moving an assembled item to another room is not included in these prices. And I do not haul away the boxes on assembly jobs, so keep your bulk pickup day in mind when you book.

Minimum charge of $119.99 covers the first item on the visit. Each additional item on the same visit is charged at the rate shown.

Is there a minimum charge?

Yes — $119.99 for the first item on the visit. Every additional item that day is billed at the flat rate in the table above, which is why it pays to batch a whole room into one booking.

Do you take the boxes away?

Not on assembly jobs. The packaging stays with you. Box removal is included on TV installations, but not here.

Will you move the furniture into another room once it is built?

Moving an assembled piece to a different room is not included in the listed price. Tell me where it is going before I start and I will build it there.

Do you assemble office furniture for businesses?

Yes. Residential and commercial both. Multiple office chairs and desk banks are quoted as a package rather than per item.

What if a part is missing or damaged in the box?

I will tell you straight away and build everything I can around it. You deal with the retailer for the replacement part and I will come back to finish, usually at no additional call-out.
